VMware launches Fusion 3
VMware announces the release of version 3 of its virtualization software, providing support for Aero and Windows 7 optimized for Snow Leopard. The new version offers more than 50 new features and enhancements, including advanced support for graphics-intensive games for the Windows platform.

# Optimization for Snow Leopard, implementing a new core engine 64-bit and native support for the new 64-bit kernel.
# Full integration of Windows 7, with Aero and Flip 3D. Support for both 32 or 64 bits
# New migration wizard that allows passing the entire contents of a PC to the virtual machine connected to the Mac via cable or wireless.
# Virtual 3D with support for Aero Graphics, Direct X 3D Graphics Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.1
# Enhanced integration between the Mac and the virtual machine to the way “Always On”, which allows to launch Windows applications even if the VM is off.
It is available from today at the VMware website.
