Xerox launches laser printer paid for the drop of ink consumed
The printer maker Xerox brings to our country ColorQube Series Xerox 9200 solid ink multifunction system at high speed. A study by the Rochester Institute of Technology in the U.S., the series ColorQube consumes 9% less energy during its life cycle and produces 10% less greenhouse gas than other laser printers
ColorQube 9200 models are offered with a pricing plan “colored hybrid that significantly reduces the cost of printing color pages, since it eliminates the traditional pricing system. Until now, the cost of a page full color is the same as a page with just a little color, as would be to include a corporate logo on a letterhead. With the plan “Color Hybrid” means customers only pay for the ink color used on a particular page.
Moreover, the solid ink technology that Xerox has been using on their desktops for over a decade has been completely redesigned to achieve higher speed and higher volumes of printing. ColorQube 9200 series is available in three models with different print speeds. Each has four heads capable of producing over 150 million ink droplets per second, which enables speeds from 38 to 85 pages per minute.
